The Ashani Saucer Glass Bead Bracelet is made with twelve green Ashanti saucer beads, four Tree agate beads, two green glass Chevron beads, two yellow Czech glass beads, eight small purple iridescent glass beads and sixteen silver-plated caps.
*Ashanti beads, from the Ashanti region of Ghana, are also known as "talking beads" gaining their name from the distinct sounds the beads make while a person moves.
 *Tree agate is also known as dendritic agate. Dendrites are crystal inclusions that develop in foliage or tree branch-like patterns. In tree agate, these dendrites create a beautiful green dappling effect on a white base. This beautiful green and white stone has long been seen as having a deep connection to nature and was therefore viewed as the stone of plentitude by many civilizations. Just as a dappled forest may bring calmness, so it's said tree agate brings a sense of peace and inner tranquility to wearers.
*Glass Chevron beads are special glass beads; the first specimens of this type were created by glass bead makers in Venice and Murano, Italy, toward the end of the 14th century. They may also be referred to as rosetta, or star beads.  
* Czech glass beads are made from pressed, fire-polished glass.
